Application Conception & Design

Applications are designed with the open standards Web environment. This allows today's Web designers to conceptualize, design and prototype the application in Firefox and a published library of supported JAVA and JSP API calls.

Application Release Model

This model allows the completed application to be repurposed for the myriad screen sizes within the handset market, allowing the initial application to be optimized for the best consumer experience. This is completed and tested in the developers' desktop browser.

Content Management System (CMS)

Capsa provides a full content management system, which allows the control and release of all content from the application to any content that needs to be delivered. The CMS acts as the main repository for all the application content and provides the ability for the import of one time, real-time or timed data.

Application Release or Provisioning

The release of applications in mobile are supported within Capsa allowing a brand to release to specific carriers, device families or geographical regions. This includes pre-loads, OTA (over the air), remote hosted or the complex variants of release matrix (such as iPhone). All aspects of the complex process are supported and maintained including the issues of device software revisioning and exception management (certain devices that need to be blacklisted as non-supported for a release).

Mobile Billing

Capsa provides full integration to the different types of billing within mobile, supporting the different methods (PSMS, PMMS, PayPal, eCommerce, credit cards and WAP push), carrier dependencies, handset offerings (iPhone, RIM) and reporting. These offerings are supported directly with the carrier and carrier support broker partners in the different geographical regions.

Brands & Languages

Capsa provides the ability for multiple brands and languages to be supported within single or multiple application releases. These can be released on a one-off and/or staged offering depending on your needs.

Device Management

Capsa provides the ability to identify and name a mobile device type, allowing support and business rules to be applied to the release, support, update and additional feature releases. The component not only manages the application capability but also the exception by carrier, handset provider and region.

New Device Release Support

Capsa allows the simple addition of new handsets and OS releases, allowing a brand to have ongoing device support for the offerings as well as taking away the risk and providing future-proof solutions for released mobile offerings.

Application Revision (Up/Down)

Capsa provides the ability to release and retract application features and content, allowing solutions to be very temporal in nature, targeting the very explicit need in the mobile application solutions space.

Capsa provides the ability to release demo, pre-production, production and multiple brand-hosted instances.
